not everyone receives personal insults

rocket comes to mind

My point is that nobody should. We're all adults, and it's sad how quickly some resort to petty name-calling like we're on the playground at recess.

Random, irrelevant factoid: I have an irrational love for the Toronto Blue Jays based solely on the fact that I like the way Buck Martinez's voice gets on home run calls, and also the way he says "Edwin Encarnacion" and "Jose Bautista" and the fact that whatever audio equipment they're using makes the sound of the bat coming off the ball sound completely different than any other broadcast I've heard.

Does the bat noise sound like the former Braves' broadcasts on TBS? That always sounded weird to me.

More traditional home run sounds...

The sounds of the Blue Jays home runs (at least in the Rogers center, anyways):

To compare, here are some home runs from visiting teams at the Rogers center (sorry for the first couple, they recently played the white sox so you'll have to endure Harrelson)

How the hell does Baltimore have so many wins despite by outscored by their opponents by 40 runs?

A mediocre pitching staff and a very good record in close games. There's usually a team every year like this, or close to it.

Fun with "luck"

Good luck:

Baltimore: 66-55 (-43 run diff)

San Francisco: 66-55 (+29)

Pittsburgh: 67-54 (+21)

Bad luck:

Boston: 59-63 (+34)

Arizona: 62-59 (+49)

Seattle: 58-64 (-2)

Milwaukee: 54-66 (-15)

Sugar Land Skeeters president Matt O'Brien and Roger Clemens' agent Randy Hendricks told FOX 26 Sports that Clemens worked out for the Skeeters today and will sign with the team.

Hendricks and O'Brien told FOX Clemens will start for the Skeeters this Saturday in Sugar Land.
