Replace Pence with Tori Hunter due to Pence's day-to-day shoulder problems.

Pence's MRI was negative, so I am putting Hunter back into the line-up.

Wouldn't you know that Hunter would hit his first HR while on my bench:(

I'm going to need whatever points Neftali Feliz earns in a relief appearance removed because Texas is freaking stupid.

Dude walked off again tonight. Stole his 2nd base (apparently he's only occupied 1st base 6 times with 2nd base empty). Amazing what happens to these guys when they get out of Rihanna's spell.

.442/11/24/22 on the season.

C. Once selected, prospects remain with your team until they are moved to the major league roster, traded, or released. Prospects may only be selected during the prospect draft to be held annually each August. Players cannot be selected through waivers until they are on a major league roster (including expanded 40 man rosters in September).

That is what our rules state. A player has to be on the 40 man roster to be selected via waivers. But we had a discussion about this before the season started.

Let's say I wanted to pick up Cody Buckel (Texas). He is not on Texas's 40 man roster (I checked). To my knowledge, he necer has been. My reading of Roadkill's rules above would say no.

But....

Could I? My understanding from previous years is that I cannot pick up someone who could be in June's draft or an International free agent who was not available during Roadkill's last draft. I can pick up any FA as long as there was an opportunity for someone from Roadkill to pick him up in a draft. Since Buckle could have been picked in the last draft, then I can pick him up and place him in the majors right now.

I am confused.

this is why you shouldn't watch the games on sunday if your matchup is close.

i lost by 4.25. in the stl/mil game, greinke is pitching, jaime garcia is on 3rd with one out. medium deep fly ball to cf, should easily score garcia. but hampered by either a head injury or a basic misunderstanding of the rules of baseball, garcia gets all confused wandering around off third like a lost puppy. doesn't score. if his parents weren't brother and sister, he scores, -4.5 to greinke, i win by 0.25.

so, in conclusion, [expletive] jaime garcia.

also, zobrist and cruz both miss homers by like a foot in the night game, so don't watch the night game either if your matchup is close.

You shouldn't have been that close in the 1st place. Who starts Chris Capuano over Josh Johnson? I only started 6 pitchers too. Of course, my 7th only got 1/2 point.

there was a 100% chance of rain in miami and the radar looked like someone barfed all over south florida. i couldn't take the chance of a rainout so i went with capuano.

hamilton getting pulled after 1 ab in the night game didn't help either...

just a reminder that the new park in Miami is covered, no concern over washouts down there any longer...

well, aren't i a dumbass. completely forgot about that. almost worked out for me anyway since jj sucked and capuano was awesome.

my understanding has always been that we can add and drop prospects throughout the year without any restrictions, so long as they were available to be drafted in the prospect draft (i.e., they're not a june 2012 draftee or an international free agent who signed since the prospect draft). i'm not sure i understand why you'd want to pick up a guy who's currently in single-A and place him in the majors right now, though.

I would drop a current minor leaguer and replace him with a better prospect.

Your understanding matches mine. My point is that our rules need to reflect our understanding.
