espnny had some sort of headline stating the Giants might be the most dangerous team remaining in the playoffs. How in the hell does somebody write that nonsense? The Giants might figure out a way to win another game, but they aren't even close to the most dangerous.

Bets (in order of confidence)

BAL -7.5

DEN +13

NYG +8-9

NO -3.5

I really like the AFC lines.

I'm not sure how Denver/NE sniffs a total of 51 either....

30-17? Still 4 Under.

You're not sure how a game, which is a rematch of one that just three weeks ago saw 64 points scored, won't sniff 51?

Their last game has zero meaning to me regarding this game. Yesterdays output has zero meaning to me regarding this game. If Denver has any chance of keeping this game close they can't give up 30 points. I've been a Denver backer since the Bears game, but I don't think there's any chance in hell Tebow goes into Foxboro and resembles anything that we saw yesterday.

So you are of the opinion that Denver gets to choose how the game will play out?

Has New England's defense held anybody under 17 this season?

They actually had 4 games of giving up 17 or less. I find this surprising.

I'm counting three.

Stupid fat fingers. I meant 3.

So you don't think there's a decent chance NE puts up 40 points? Because then all it would take is a 13 points from Denver to beat the over.

They have to try. Seems to me like all of Denver's success came on 4-5 huge plays yesterday...take those away and what are you left with? Have to try to keep Brady off the field and run the clock, Tom doesn't like to lose at home.

There is a decent chance, but they only put up 40 twice this season. I think it's more likely they're closer to 30 than 40.

Yes, I will take my chances that NE doesn't put up 40 points. I'm skeptical of anything more than 34 really. I'm also skeptical that Denver can put up 13.

Probably not, but NE's defense isn't very good. That should at least buy him some hope of having a good game.

Why? Denver put up 23 points and 393 yards against the same NE team three weeks ago and scored 29 against the best defense in the NFL yesterday. I'm not saying Denver's going to score 30, but I'm pretty confident they're going to surpass 13.

Well that's weird:

OSHKOSH, Wis. -- Green Bay Packers offensive coordinator Joe Philbin's son is missing.

Police in Oshkosh say 21-year-old Michael T. Philbin of Ripon was last heard from around 2 a.m. Sunday. He had been visiting friends in Oshkosh that evening. He was reported missing on Sunday evening.

A police spokesman did not immediately return a message left Monday seeking additional comment.

A Brown County judge sentenced Michael Philbin to six months in jail in 2009 after he was convicted of sexually assaulting two young girls and two counts of battery.

His disappearance comes as the Packers prepare to face the New York Giants in an NFC playoff game Sunday in Green Bay.

The body of Packers OC Joe Philbin's son, Michael, was discovered and identified in Oshkosh, Wisconsin's Fox River after a police search.

It's believed Michael Philbin, 21, fell through the ice early Sunday. Michael's body was found in roughly 15 feet of water, 30 yards from shore, at around 4PM ET Monday. Michael's friends in Oshkosh filed a missing person's report Sunday night after he was nowhere to be found throughout the day. Joe Philbin has taken an indefinite leave of absence from the Packers.

My condolences to the family.

well that's just terrible

the pittsburgh coach was burned in a fire, the braves trainer lost his wife in a traffic accident and the GB OC loses his son, what a crappy week to work for a pro sports team.
