Are any of you the least bit worried about whoever emerges from the 4-5 game?

i was hoping boston would drop to 6, but with the dwight injury that's not going to happen. i'm not "worried", but it sucks that we're going to probably get boston in the second round instead of miami. even if the bulls win, the celtics will take more out of them than indiana... i think.

The way seedings work for the playoffs, the only way Boston was dropping to 6 is if Philly or the Knicks won the division. I was hoping Boston would wind up 3rd. Hopefully Atlanta or Orlando gives them fits and tires them out somewhat.

They said the scary thing is Rose will never go 1-13 in his life again.

If LeBron guards Rose he could absolutely go 1-13 again, but the Heat lack so much depth that I can't see any way they can beat the Bulls unless LBJ/Wade/Bosh just go bonkers. With Chicago's defense, I don't see any way that happens.

The Heat is extremely vulnerable to Chicago, and I'm not sure they could take Boston or New York.

Is there anything we could see today that would make you feel better about Rose's health? Or will today just be "Eh, it was the Pistons...."

even with 4 airballs tonight for rose, i completely felt like that was going in

There has to be some, but I honestly can't remember ever seeing him missing a game tie/game winner except for free throws

Missed one vs Charlotte last year.

How is Korver ever allowed to be wide open, makes no sense

eeehhh, not sure about "ever"

Was Rose in the game? Can't just vacate defenders to guard Korver at the 3 point line if the MVP can drive for a layup.

Of course, I wasn't actually watching this one so I don't know what was happening. Just happy with the win and a nice Rose 3pt shot to get us to OT.

His first two years, he missed quite a few game tying and winning shots. He's been money more often than not the last two years.

Just take care of business against the bad teams left on the schedule and the 1 seed will be ours.

Rose doesn't hit a high percentage of his threes but they do look pretty when they go in. I loved the splash of the net on that three.

IMO that LeBron guarding Rose thing is way overblown from an extremely small sample size of possessions.

Yep. Anyone that think Lebron can shut down Rose in an iso situation is out of their mind. He has a better chance than anyone else, but nobody can stop Derrick 1v1. Similarly, nobody can stop LeBron 1v1. Luckily we play better team defense (theirs is pretty good too, though) and have more/better complimentary pieces that can make plays.

It's going to be a fun series if it occurs.

And whoever said they can't remember Derrick missing a game winning/tying shot must have a short memory. He missed 2 of them a week ago against the Knicks. I would like to see his stats in those situations as it does seem that he's better than most players at finishing with the game on the line.
