Can't wait to see the overnight for this one.

Worst championship game since...?

USC-Oklahoma or Oklahoma-FSU.

Oh god I forgot about Oklahoma-FSU.

OU-FSU was the 2nd highest rated BCS game ever.

I recall seeing that. More people watched Josh Heupel's shining moment than Cam Newton.

At least USC-Oklahoma featured a lot of points. It was much more entertaining than this crapfest. Plus, everyone knew this game was going to be a low scoring, boring game. USC-Oklahoma had the potential to be similar to what USC-Texas actually was.

@McMurphyCBS: LSU's Jordan Jefferson said he believes Tigers should be No. 1 in AP poll

lol

After the way Alabama owned them, he should be thrilled with #2.

And after the way he played, he should be somewhere in a corner with his tail between his legs rather than saying stupid delusional [expletive].

Was that injury as bad as it looked? It looked awful live and I can't bring myself to watch the replays.

Probably

Dislocated hip is what I heard on the radio last night. I'm sure that was extremely painful, but that has to be better than torn knee ligaments, right?

did he have an AP vote? that could explain the one moron who voted lsu #1.

I know one AP voter was quoted before the game that he was going to vote for LSU no matter what happened in the championship game. He said they would still have the best overall resume even with a loss to Alabama.

How the ****** does LSU finish ahead of OSU? Maybe I am biased because I enjoy watching good football, but LSU has twice looked to me like a team that OSU would run off the field.

EDIT: I was seriously LONGING for last years game. Oregon-Auburn was as entertaining a college football game as I have ever seen.

It doesn't really matter, but it's laughable that LSU finished ahead of Oklahoma State in both polls.

LSU also finished ahead of Oklahoma State in all but 1 computer (and that computer had Oklahoma State 1, LSU 2, Alabama 3). It just depends on if you put a higher value on the bowl result than all the other games of the season.

bc LSU didn't go to Ames and come home with a L. OSU should have been in the title game instead of Bama, but I'm not willing to totally overlook LSU's regular season b/c they had one [expletive] game at the end.

I really despise the BCS system.

Iowa State wasn't as bad as they have been in years past. They weren't world beaters by any stretch, but they were decent (played well in the Pinstripe Bowl, a clear road game). And it was in Ames, whereas LSU's loss was on a "neutral" field.

But whatever. You are right - we shouldn't have to debate this horse****. At most we should be debating whether a certain team deserved to be in the 12 team tournament field, or whatever. Damn that would be epic.

Right. But LSU's loss was to a really good team. Neutral or away doesn't matter as much when the quality of opponents is so great.

I don't really care enough. My comment was as much a shot at ISU as anything else. I know they were decent this year, but I've spent my whole life disliking them, so I'll take shots where I can. Besides, this is a debate about who finishes 2nd. Meh.

Texas A&M won in Ames this year. Your argument has just been torn to [expletive].

You really think OSU would have beaten LSU? The same OSU team that gave up over 600 yards of offense to Stanford?

I think he's talking about the OSU that lost just as few games as any team against the best schedule of any BCS team.
