Three members of the 2011 draft class stepped into the top 10. Baez at #2, Maples at 5 and VogelBOMB at 10. I sincerely hope that Castillo replaces Hill in 2012. Edited by BeerHere

Well, at least they spelled Castillo's name right in the tools section.

My list is going to be much different than theirs.

Agreed. Pawelek still bothers me.

No DeVoss, Simpson or Ha

Nor Rhee. Dolis definitely doesn't belong in the top 10.

ETA: Why would Simpson even sniff the top 10? I don't think DeVoss is a top 20 prospect.

I doubt I'll have Castillo, Maples or Dolis in my top 10.

What don't you like about DeVoss? It's a small sample size at Boise but he still OPS'd .840. Given the lack of depth at the position I'm curious to see how he does at Peoria next year. Is he not the best 2B prospect in the system ceiling-wise?

Lack of depth?

Barney (if mlb is part of the "system")

Flaherty

LeMahieu

Cerda

Watkins

Not to mention that guys currently at SS could be moved to 2B if Starlin stays at SS. Which would throw guys like Marco Hernandez and Gioskar Amaya into the mix, too.

The Cubs 1st round picks over the last 10 years have contributed -0.2 bWAR.

(Yes, I know I'm gettin off-topic)

Any guesses as to what draft pick from the past 8 years has accumulated the most bWAR as a Cub?

His awful '09 and '10 torpedoed nearly all the value from '08 and '11.
