Football is for Saturday and Sunday afternoons. All night games are lame, no matter what night they're played.

There's nothing wrong with a night game, especially Friday and Saturday nights.

Saturday night is great. Sunday and Monday night suck because of the need for sleep before work.

the 8:30 ET kickoffs suuuuuuuuucccccccckkkkkkkkkkkkk

Ok, fair enough. I'm ok with Friday and Saturday night games. I think I could get behind other night games if they'd start them about an hour and a half earlier.

Yeah, I wouldn't be cool with games starting at 4 pm here. I already risk missing the start of 5:30 pm games and that's with a really light commute after work.

Considering they only happen 1-3 times a year, can't you just get out early for those days?

Both valid possibilities but you guys will fall asleep in the 4th quarter whether the game starts at 7 or 8:30 ET so I don't want to hear it.

If it's the Sunday night game, probably. Because I'll be drinking all day. But if it's the Monday Night game? Nah, I can pull off 11pm if I try hard enough.

I look at it this way. I can't watch 13-15 games at once during two time slots on Sunday afternoon especially if my team is playing in one of those time slots (even if I had Sunday Ticket). If there were only games on Sunday afternoon, I'd see the Colts, Bears, and one other game every week. Night games allow me to see many other teams, see many of the best matchups, and just give me more games in a week overall. What's not to like about that? If they turn out to be duds of matchups, I can just not watch and be no worse off than if that game was on Sunday afternoon. The only loss is when your team is on a night game, and that cannot happen more than 40% of the season at the most.

I might be the only one, but I HATE football on Thursdays.

I'm curious. Why? Is it because the broadcasts are usually marginal at best? Or just not in the mood on Thursday to start watching football?

I usually have it on in the background, but Thursday nights I'm doing other things. I don't hate it, but unless it's a team I care about it's probably not going to receive my full attention.

I just love the fact that all the games besides the Monday Night games are all played on Sunday. I don't know why, just how I like it I guess.

Wait, you're allowed to use pass interference against wide receivers on punts formation plays?

I've never heard that before either.

Too easy otherwise for the punter to just throw one in the direction of the gunner after he starts getting blocked.
