It could have been interpreted as someone that was out to pad his stats based on throwing the "garbage" in there. I didn't take that as your intent, but it's certainly possible to read it that way.

Ponder reminds me of 2002 Pennington, the only Pennington that was fully healthy in the NFL. He's a young, upstart facilitator for an offense loaded with playmakers. Peterson, Shiancoe, Harvin, and friends can do the work, he just has to get them the ball and don't [expletive] it up. Plus he gets to play his home games in a dome, always a nice thing for a pitch, catch, and go QB, amirite?

pretty weak sunday of football overall. None of the games particularly interested me.

 

Every single game featured a 0-2 win team except 3:

3-3 Cleveland vs. 5-1 San Francisco

3-3 Washington vs. 4-2 Buffalo

5-1 New England vs. 5-2 Pittsburgh

 

So 2 of the three 3 win teams are an undeserved 3-3, leaving only NE vs. Pit as a good game.
