B1G stepped in and suspended Gholston for this weekend's game.

 

2 points:

 

1) They only punished him for the punch, not the head twist

2) Still laughing that the MSU AD is defending Gholston and they obviously are ok with those things up there if the B1G needed to step in since MSU wasn't doing anything

 

1) The one game was expected. Pretty sure you have murder someone on the field to get more than one game.

 

2) This is MSU we're talking about. They let players back on the team the day they get out of prison. They weren't going to suspend anyone for anything done on the field.

 

It doesn't really matter though. Gholston isn't that great of a player and MSU is going to get killed this weekend anyway.
