Bye-week hell for me this week.

Alex Smith

Tarvaris Jackson

Basically, my goal is to lose by less than 60. In the little poll where you get to vote for who you think will win, I already voted for the other guy. For entertainment purposes, here's a look at my players who have a bye this week, all in the same league:

Ray Rice

Tony Romo

Brandon Marshall

Daniel Thomas

Joe Flacco

Jabar Gaffney

That's true, but Tarvaris Jackson's numbers took a spike when he had Sidney Rice back.

Should starting Sidney Rice make Alex Smith an even more obvious choice?

This seems like a really stupid question to me and I never dreamed before the year I'd ask it, but it's become a necessity to ask. Who do I start:

Rivers @ Denver

Cam v New Orleans

Cam's been flat out better than Rivers in every way possible this year (Cam's scored 100 points in this league to 58 for Rivers), but the matchup would dictate Rivers.

Also, same league:

I have the Jets defense, but they're at the Patriots. Do I keep them and hope they get some turnovers and don't get torched too badly or do I go with one of these options:

Bengal D @ Jax

Titan D @ Pitt

Colts D v KC

I HATE HATE Tavaris, I'd take Smith.

Rivers

Indy D

Pick 2

Peterson vs ARI

Wells @ MIN

Blount @ SF

AP and Wells. Wells has been 1 of the best backs in the league this year, I don't think sitting him is an option.

Pick 1

Starks vs Atl

Addai vs KC

Ridley vs Jets

Flex spot (no PPR):

Mike Williams (TB) (@ SF)

Tomlinson (@ NE)

Williams has broken 50 yards on consecutive games but hasn't seen the end zone since week 1. The matchup is as friendly to the possibility of a breakout game as I can hope for with him anymore.

Tomlinson has shown to be serviceable this year, and NE has shown to be vulnerable to pass-catching backs. With NE's firepower, the Jets should be in passing mode most of the game, which should give Tomlinson good time compared to Greene.

Watching these numbers from Mike Williams (TB) is getting old in a hurry. This SF matchup is supposed to be about as good as it's going to get for him. EDIT - He finally would have gotten his first point of the game, but he lost a fumble on the catch. Time to drop him for Delone Carter.
