I don't think they're playing well at all. Bad entries into the zone. Not enough energy once they do get into the zone. And they are getting pushed around.

 

Really? I've seen good puck movement for the most part and seen some good chances once they get into the zone. Granted I've been flipping from the Bulls game so maybe I'm not getting the entire picture

 

They've gotten jammed up in the neutral zone a lot. Failing to get the puck deep. That sort of thing.

I feel like we haven't had too many sustained chances. Seems like we dump it in and they get it or we take one shot from the blue line or one of the circles and it's blocked or right at the goaltender. I don't feel like we've played well either.

Frustrating game so far. The Penguins are controlling the puck and the Hawks are just playing catchup so far. They better start getting some offensive momentum or this is going to be a long game!

Seriously, the puck seems to bend around the stick of the Hawks player standing near the crease.

I think they are dumping it in more because they are having trouble stick handling into the zone. Thing is, as Morin showed a minute ago, they aren't even doing a good job of dumping the puck in.

And another Hawks penalty...geez. If they score here, just gotta chalk it up to a bad night I guess and get ready for Montreal tomorrow.

Oh well, we've played well. Just don't make this a trend. You rack up 29 minutes of penalties (7 power plays I believe) in 40 minutes and its gonna be hard to win most nights.
