The hawks looked like [expletive] all series

The SOG were clear looks for smith with very little traffic in front of the net

Basically, the Hawks got beat by a team with inferior forwards and defensemen. But goaltending still matters a little bit in this league, and that matchup in this series was a decisive blowout.

Get a damn goaltender.

I said it last year this time and I'll say it again. Stalberg can go.

Brunette obviously too. Oduya if anyone will take him. I'd think someone would with just one more year on his deal. Let Hammer and Leddy improve. Need more size from the 5/6 defensive pair and gotta get some more size at forward. Guys like Bickell except who actually bring it more often.

They are talking about how we have 20 guys coming back like that's a good thing.

There's a lot of talent in the pipeline, even in an off year they still managed 101 points, probably would have been closer to 108-110 were it not for that awful stretch.

The sad thing for Phoenix is this is their best team and still they don't have a chance at the Cup. Nashville' not going to continually cough up the puck in their end, nor is Rinne going to let in a bunch of soft goals.

Well, let's go Blues.

Um, no. I don't want to hear these pukes if they win the cup. I get to throw the fact they've never won it in their face when they get too uppity about the Cards.

The ratings will be through the roof for that Nashville vs Phoenix series. I'm not sure how many people in those cities will even watch.

Has to be one of the least inspiring/interesting last four Western teams in recent memory. I'm tempted to say Nashville is the favorite to make the Finals.

the TV networks gotta love a Nashville (37th largest metro) vs. Phoenix (not traditional hockey market) and St. Louis (19th largest metro) vs. Los Angeles (2nd largest metro, but if this is your best draw of the 4 WC teams that's depressing)

The East is going to get all the attention, especially if the Rangers advance

Just think that one of those 4 teams is going to play in the SC Finals

I'll be cheering for the Predators since I've seen a bunch of their guys play for Milwaukee in the AHL. Rinne was fun to watch in person.

Yeah, and imagine if the final four East teams are New York, New Jersey, Boston, and Philadelphia. Compared to the uninspiring West? Eek.

There really isn't much of an intriguing team in the West. I guess the Kings and Blues both have some history but the Kings being an 8th seed makes me not want to see them in the finals.

remember a couple months ago when someone asked if we should trade kane for a good goalie? let's revisit that,

and boy did we miss brian campbell this season

Yup I said it before the series started. Mike Smith >>>> Crawford.

You should be a hockey analyst with groundbreaking thoughts like that. Are you sure you aren't already one?

These post game interviews are tough to watch (don't really know why I'm doing it.). Toews looked close to suicide or something.
