So I got:

Stafford vs KC

Schaub @ MIA

Heh, I have the same 2 QB's. After seeing Fitzpatrick put up 4 TD's against the KC defense, Stafford is a must start in my opinion. Heck, I'm at the point that Stafford is probably a must start every week until he gets hurt.

Need 1 from this group

Dez Bryant vs SF

Julio Jones vs Philly

Addai vs Cleve

Starks vs Carolina

Winslow vs Minny

Dez looks like the safest choice.

Starks is worth consideration too. I'd probably take him over Bryant.

Stafford's health is his only potential obstacle, plus Chiefs' starting safety tore his ACL and is done for the year. Without Foster, Schaub only put up 8 points.

Yea I was leaning towards either Starks or Addai. I know Indy's offense looked terrible against Houston, but Benson put up over 120 yards rushing on Cleve this week and its not like he was playing with a QB worth a damn either. It'd be nice if GB would just come out and say Starks is the starter and will get the bulk of the carries, but until they do hes a pretty big question mark each week.

Grant didn't get a whole lot of chances in the first place, and when he did, it's not like he did a whole lot with them. Unless Grant has a breakout game, I think Starks will be the default recipient of the majority of opportunities.

i can't believe steven jackson played all but 1 game the last 2 years. every year i have him in fantasy fb and it seems like he's either out for a week like 3 times a year, or he's questionable and i have no idea if he's going to play. at least this time he has seemed to hurt himself badly enough that it's very unlikely he'll play in week 2.

Pick 1

Julio Jones v. Phi

D. Henderson v. Chi

S. Rice @ Pit

I know this doesn't quite fit. But should I drop Pierre Garcon and pick up Fred Davis or Steve Smith

My TE's are Dallas Clark and Aaron Hernandez - not really comoftable starting either next week, despite Hernandez's good game. WRs are Vincent Jackson, Santana Moss, Marques Colston, Pierre Garcon, Austin Collie

Shaub @ Miami

Cutler @ NO

Non-Bears fan opinion plz.

Both defenses showed they can be picked apart by an elite quarterback. Atlanta was supposed to have a very solid defense, and Cutler did fine putting up points against them. I don't know what Indianapolis's defense was projected to be like before the season, but Schaub put up relatively weak numbers, despite the Texans routing them. I don't think I'm being a homer in saying that Cutler is the safer pick.

TT - not Rice. I'm leaning Henderson, just because I think Brees is more likely to put up big numbers against a top defense than Ryan is.

tfarks - Steve Smith, definitely.

if Weatherspoon tackles Forte like any useful LB does, Cutler probably ends up with a pretty pedestrian game, for fantasy

i've gotta go with the guy throwing to Andre Johnson and Owen Daniels over the guy throwing to Devin Hester and...Kellen Davis?

Devery Henderson is available in both my leagues. I'm 12th of 14 in one league, and I'm really hoping that there are 11 people who don't think to check the waiver wire. I'd love to pull off dropping Eddie Royal and picking him up. Trying to swap out Austin Collie for him in the other league. Also hoping to drop Daniel Thomas and Ryan Grant to add Tomlinson and Darren Sproles.

Anti-Bears homerism is just as useless as pro-bears homerism.

The credit behind starting Schaub isn't so much "Bears got lucky again," but the Texans led big early, so the passing game was done at halftime. Had the necessity been there, Schaub very well could have been much bigger. If Henne can throw for 416 against the Pats D, then I'm sure Schaub is going to need to do a lot to keep up. In fact... I might be changing my own mind here.

Yeah I'm recovering from drafting Colts players and having Steven Jackson get injured. My waiver wire looks like this:

Danny Woodhead for Steve Smith

Pierre Garcon for Cadillac Williams

Austin Collie for Devery Henderson

Matt Bryant for Robbie Gould

Last one for homerish reasons. When the Bears screw up in the redzone and have to kick a FG I won't feel as bad.

I'll quit now and just ask this since I won't be picking up Fred Davis:

Dallas Clark vs CLE

Aaron Hernandez vs SD

Gould won't be bad at all. My leagues do bonus points for 40+ yd field goals, and he'll definitely be good for those.

I feel like Clark may be the better option since he's not splitting TE duties with another starter-caliber TE, but I don't think you can really make a bad choice with those two all season.
