Ps I hate Soriano so much. I think he'd be more valuable to us on the bench. He's just not a starting caliber player anymore IMO.

Is it really expecting too much to expect major league hitters to have a [expletive] clue as to what the opposing pitcher is trying to do? I expect Soriano to be a mental midget, but to watch Barney swing at a pitch low and away with less than 2 strikes is ridiculous. He is supposed to be a smart player yet doesn't realize that the pitcher is the one in trouble when the bases are loaded. As crappy as Dempster was in the first inning, he has kept the team in the game while the offense wets the bed again.
