LOL at the Astros turning into the Yankees on the sorry ass Cubs the past 2 games. Hopefully a sweep at the hands of these guys and a 3-6 home stand versus 3 of the worst teams in baseball will inspire them to start the inevitable fire sale and do away with Quade. Yeah, I know that firing the manager does nothing, but as uninspiring as this team was going into the season, they really shouldn't have been this bad.

A fire sale needs to begin with one man and one man only. Jim Hendry... You built this mess, your time is up.

That would figure. Not too many explanations for Carlos getting knocked around by these jokers.

marmol has been declared injured like 10 times in the last 3 years, basically every time he blows a save in horrific fashion.

It's an absolute joke that this game will bring upon no changes.

I'm seriously going to stop watching for a while... so brutal.

This game shouldn't being about changes. It's one game. Now stinking up the first two months with a getting raped by the dregs of the division flourish deserves some attention.

Might as well let the season play out at this point, though. Well, with a selling spree mixed in, anyway.

Yeah, I'm sure he's fine. It's just a little jarring when he gets hit.

What can you say at this point?

You can hope for someone in the Ricketts family to hire a proven baseball man to run the entire organization.

Meanwhile, more losses and more empty seats to come. Maybe Tommy boy will stop worrying about the Wrigley Field experience long enough to realize that fans really don't give a damn about the park they play in.
