WTF is up with these guys? I havnt been paying any attention to these guys since we last played them, and all of the sudden, theyve won 14 of their last 16 and are in 1st in the NL West. It wasnt too long ago when we were talking about pilledging these guys for Drew or Johnson.

The bullpen turned it around, and the starters put together a hell of streak. The lineup was always decent. It's hard to see them holding together all season, but with the Rockies' starting pitching woes and the Giants' glue and tape lineup, I guess it's possible.

 

Must be nice to go from a couple crappy years to a properly rebuilt team with a chance to win...

Kirk Gibson is one of my all-time favorite non Cubs. I have been hoping he succeeds. I dont think it will last this year though.
