If it was 2-3 years ago, Id be very afraid of a lineup with Ludwick and Hawpe at the 6-7 spots.

Pena's power was on display last night. However, power doesn't do much good when the wind is howling in. From what I've heard, Pena absolutely crushed that ball in the 9th last night.

I heard he would have had 2 hr's easy if the wind wouldn't have been blowing in.

Hopefully he's starting to heat up. We need his power.

Muskat seems to think Starlin could see the 3-spot in game 2.

Keep him at leadoff. He's our best hitter and should get as many AB's as possible.

Let him bat third. At most we're looking at one extra at bat for him, and the chances of that being meaningful are slim. Plus, it would mean no Byrd in the three-hole!

I won't hate him in the 3 spot. I just figure why mess with a good thing?

Rammy should be 3rd, Soriano 4th (to hell with what he's "comfortable" with... with that paycheck he shouldn't complain), Pena 5th, Soto 6th, and Byrd 7th.

Although, as I said, I woudln't hate him in the 3-hole.

I wonder if that means Byrd will be dropped in the order or if Colvin/Johnson will be getting the start over him? Also I just realized that Koyie Hill will be making a appearance today

Maybe we'll get lucky and he'll do something not entirely useless like he did the other day when he laid down that bunt.

And if this happens, I'll buy a lottery ticket.
