He gets a foul called on him or turns the ball over everytime he tries. Boozer had a pretty nice game for once. For the first time ever, I'm going to say Derrick hogged the ball too much. He needs to penetrate and kick or run a real offense.

Usually that happens when Boozer gets the ball in the high post because he has no foot speed to beat his man.

 

I can barely recall more than 1 or 2 plays all playoffs where we got Boozer cleanly established in the low post and had him score.

why is rose barely getting any criticism from the media? he's been flat out bad in the postseaosn, but they still keep pimping him hard.

 

if lebron/kobe/dirk was playing like rose is playing, they'd be getting CRUSHED by everybody. but with rose, it's just "the MVP is so explosive and so amazing at finishing at the rim!" when he's going like 9-29 and [expletive]. it's get of annoying. maybe some constructive criticism would help.

 

the main headline on espn.com right now is a perfect example.

The Hawks contained young MVP Derrick Rose (somewhat) in Game 4 at home and pulled level with the Bulls

 

they "somewhat" contained him? he was 12-32. he was awful. i think people look at his 34 points and just say "damn, rose dropped 34 again", when reality it should be "damn, rose shot well under 40% again".

 

rose is having an awful postseason. AND WE HAVEN'T EVEN PLAYED A GOOD TEAM YET

Rose has undeniably outplayed Kobe this post season. James has had some great games with some bad games, just like Rose.

 

Considering no one ever talks about how abjectly terrible James was in the 2007 Finals (seriously, look at the box scores--just wretched stuff), I don't necessarily agree that "THE MEDIA" is protecting Rose from criticism. There was a pretty damn heated discussion literally 5 minutes after the game ended on TNT.

That said, his TS% has plummeted and clearly doesn't pass the eye test. But bad postseason? no way.

Rose is shooting 40% in the postseason. Ther'es is no way around it. He's having a bad postseason.

 

Unless of course you think chucking up 25-30 shots a game at 40% is somehow helping the team
