I was gonna try and google Purdue in a final four for photos. I couldn't come up with any. Google must be broken.

How many NBA players did they have in the 40s tough guy?

Well in all fairness, those banners are covered in dust and mold, and correct me if I'm wrong but two of them came when the NCAA tournament played second fiddle to the NIT right?

 

They all came before the 35 second shot clock, I know that.

ncaa title game, something that purdue last saw a couple months before woodstock

 

I wonder what Sean May is looking like these days.

 

Leave my team out of this....and yes he's been a horrendous pro....but he was a great college player....even better than DJ Byrd.

 

This sort of reminds me of the "Great Jewish Sports Heros" line from "Airplane":

 

"Would you like something to read?"

"Do you have anything light?"

"How about this pamphlet, 'Great Purdue Basketball Heros'?"

An unfortunate result of a couple Illini fans being unable to take any needling from a team that beat them twice without making fools of themselves.
