I have an interview in Milwaukee next Friday, but I have a few hours to kill before my plane departs. Does anybody know of the best way to get to Miller Park from either downtown or from the airport? I have never been there and would like to see the stadium.

MaybeI don't understand what you're asking. If I do...

?

Google Maps can't help with the ideal routing, or whether to walk, take the bus, ride a bike, rent a pedicab, or somersault to Miller Park. Or simply put, he is looking for insight a map can't offer.

Since I have never been to Milwaukee, let alone Wisconsin, I can only tell you to wear head protection if you are planning on somersaulting.

By car -- take 94 west towards Madison. You won't miss the Miller Park exit a couple miles down the road from downtown.

Public transit -- not sure if there is a bus that goes there on non-game days. Milwaukee kind of sucks for public transit. No trains, buses are kind of sketchy IMO.

If you rent a car, you're golden.

I've been to Miller a few times, though it's been a while. It's super easy to get to...right off the interstate...and has good parking. I'd just drive.

I live up there for a summer (back in the old County Stadium days) and always found Milwaukee very easy to get around.

The tailgating scene makes the outside worthwhile, if you like that kind of thing.

In the offseason though -- it's basically a big old brick building in the middle of an asphalt lake. There are some semi-interesting statues & such scattered around the grounds.

Nothing even remotely close to Wrigley.

You can eat lunch at Friday's year round -- which will give you a view of the inside of the park. So you shouldn't be limited to the exterior if you have time for a bite to eat.

Get there early, as the parking lot can't hold enough cars for a sold out game. I had to park a mile away and walk

That shouldn't be a problem.
