I'm happy with an 11 point lead but I'm terrified with a secondary full of shitty backups. I really hope Shields, Collins and Woodson are ok.

Is this official or is this a gut feeling? I'm freaking out here man.

I know I'm going to sound like a huge homer, so feel free to argue against this, but I'm starting to think the Bears were the only team that could stop the Packers offense. Since that offensive stinker against the Lions, the Packers scored 27 (with Flynn), 45, 10 (against the Bears), 21, 48, and 21 (14 offensive against Bears).

Not to say that the Bears shut down the Packers the last time. They easily could have scored 30+ in the NFC title game. But the Bears really clamped down in the 2nd half and forced Rodgers into a very poor game. They seem to have either a game plan to slow them down or maybe just the personnel.

Lets see how the Steelers D starts the 2nd half

Think another beer will make it sound better? Anybody else while I am up...anybody??

Man they screwed up the sound mix on a level I didn't think was possible.

That was pretty much a disaster. Hope it sounded better in person.

No, but it's clear the Bears have developed a strategy that at least gives them a chance.

It's a really tough offense to stop. Lots of teams found this out. Interestingly -- the Lions fared well too, relatively speaking.

I think the familiarity helps.

The Who was pretty bad last year too. I'm pretty sure Tom Petty was the last performance I somewhat enjoyed.

I go back to U2.

Apparently the designers for that haltime show did some ecstasy and watched Conan's In The Year 2000 sketches before picking the costumes and lighting.

So Woodson out but Shields and Driver will return.

That was a TD.

Was Jones the guy who dropped a TD late in the first half of one of the other playoff games?

why do people watch the super bowl halftime shows anyway? aren't they usually somewhere between bad and horrendous?

Exactly, none of them are any good.
