Gooney waits till Monday. It's not his fault there's nothing to do in Wisconsin.

you're right, it's too cold to even go outside to my garage and wax my [expletive] snowboard. i could turn the propane heater on, but it's too cold to wait for it.

i guess i could get wasted like everyone else does here.

or you could try to mow your lawn. and if your lawnmower doesn't start, go get your shotgun and shoot at it.

that is nothing

I need to wait a few days before I can pick this one. I'm leaning toward Bears now, but Saturday night is tough to forget. Granted, the Bears have a defense and the Falcons don't, but still...

the bears aren't stupid enough to play man coverage on the packers' receivers after continually getting burned.

I think the Capers vs Martz match up is very interesting. Capers runs a fairly unorthodox defense and Martz's offense is as well. I think this is a key match up along with Cutler vs Rodgers. Cutler is going to see some tough blitzes because it's pretty much what the Packers do. So far he hasn't done much against the Packers. Is he a cerebral enough QB to exploit the Packers blitzes? On the other hand Rodgers has never played amazing against he Bears.

They are able to sit back in coverage and that makes it tough for a QB especially when the line can get a rush. Green Bay plays for the big play and you just can't do that against the Bears. The first match up they had a couple of drives where they dinked and dunked it down the field. They have to be patient and do this to win and even that is tough because the Bears force a lot of turnovers and if you are methodically driving down the field that gives them more of a chance to do so.

I'm picking the Pack in a close one because I'm a homer. I really can't see them doing to the Bears what they did to Atlanta and if anything I could see the Bears blowing this one out honestly. I don't think we will ever figure out the Bears defense to a point where we will dominate and this the best the Bears offense has been in a while. They could easily have a big game.

there's no figuring out the bears defense because the defense rarely schemes. i was surprised to see tillman following williams around all day today, jamming him and getting up in his face because we don't normally do that. the defense, generally, is what it is, a ball swarming pursuit defense that makes you run a lot of plays. you can either beat it with your personnel or you can't.

I am going to be doing so much reading of stories before this game and listening to Chicago sports talk radio this week. For Bear fans, what station has the best Bears coverage would you say?

I can't believe the Packers or Bears will be in the Superbowl. The ratings for this game are going to be crazy.
