I'll say it now. Save it if you like, sig it if you like, do whatever you want, but hold me to it. If the Bears win, I will come on this thread after the game (may be a few hours after seeing as I work) and say that the Bears were indeed better than the Packers this year and deserve to be in the Super Bowl. Jersey starts Bears threads, not Packer fans. He's started every game thread except 1-2.

Getthing this off to a good start :)

It's a Packer thread. ;)

Well then change this to conference championship game discussion and we'll start our standard Bears thread.

I'd rather you just blame the field if the Bears win though

Yeah, that won't be happening. Sorry to disappoint.

Still ambivalent on our homefield 'advantage'. We've played well on offense and it clearly hurts both teams' pass rushes (I have never seen our offensive line play this well all year, this cannot just be coincidence) and our defense, while stout overall, didn't generate much pass rush. The only way to even think about slowing down Rodgers is to get a rush with just the down linemen...this is gonna be a huge challenge.

I'm feeling this is going to be an ol fashioned shootout a la the Jets game...and Rodgers is more well equipped than we are to keep up with that type of game.

There is no franchise I dislike more than the Green Bay Packers.

Charles Woodson is like the dual threat in terms of hatred, Michigan alum and now Packer? Awful.

Clay Matthews for me.

If Tommie shows up like he did today, we'll have a pass rush. also, the CB's jamming the receivers at the los and playing man was key today. hopefully, they can do this against GB. The D plays well against them

oh our CB's can play that physically if they want to, but its up to the reff's to throw holding and PI penalties, and considering this is vs the Packers with legit receivers and not the Seahawks, I could see a lot more being thrown
