You really couldn't see the rationale behind picking up a 25 year old former top prospect who was coming off a couple down (but hardly disastrous) seasons, could be had for nothing, and could be stashed on the back end of the bench just to see if we don't luck into something? Not only could you not see that, but you felt it so absurd as to feel the need to mock everybody who believes in no risk gambles?
