our guys just have to maintain their focus, and when i say "our guys', i mean our o-line.

 

as they go, so go our bears. if they have a good game today, i think we win, we have to start in max-protect and work out from there. i hope they throw all those "exotic' blitzes at us and i hope cutler is prepared to burn them.

i'm not worried about those. our linebackers are able to stop those before they get started and have all year.

 

i'm not worried about vick finding the soft spots in the tampa-2, he simply is not accurate enough to make those touch throws consistently. i worry about him running, though, but our field is terrible and it will be like no other field he's played on before. he throws a good deep ball, but our coverage insulates us from that, usually.

 

our defense matches up against him well. if we don't turn the ball over, we'll win.

Not sure why Hester let a punt go when he had 5-10 yards of space between the ball and the coverage team. He could have caught it off the bounce and ran too...instead 10-15 yards of lost field position.

The Bears first offensive possession went just as poorly as the Eagles.

 

Cutler overthrows his receiver by 10 feet on 1st, then a 5 yard run, a 5 yard false start and a sack on 3rd.

 

 

And then Jackson with a long punt return showing how much smarter he is than Hester.

Yea this is exactly what the Eagles should do. Run the screens, dump offs to draw us in, and then pop the long passes.
