Rose is really sandwiching some terrible turnovers around his breathtaking plays.

 

But anyone who is voting Rondo over him to watch in an All Star game is clinically insane.

Horrible, horrible 4th quarter. Just a sloppy game all around. 20 turnovers, 11/20 from the line, and an appalling inability to convert fast breaks.

The Bulls three point defense is really atrocious. Again, that's what happens when you don't guard the perimeter. And do we have the scouting report on Gallinari? Wide open three after wide open three.

 

I'm also convinced we miss more layups and transition baskets than any other team in the league. It seems like we have to work much harder than most teams on the offensive end as well. At least we were playing a good defensive team today, right?

Yeah, the transition play was horrible. That's where you miss Noah because he's a good passer to start the break or he can dribble the ball up himself if need be. Plus with Noah out and Gibson not getting many minutes the shot blocking that can kick start fast breaks is missing.

 

I said this on RealGM but someone needs to take Thibs to task over Bogans. Just be a huge prick about it and hound him.

Somebody made a really nice outlet pass to Watson on the break and instead of going up for a layup, he was worried that his attempt would get blocked and decided to pull it back out to the perimeter. Korver threw up a wild shot on a transition opportunity and we missed quite a few easy bunnies from both Rose and Boozer today.

 

We're also way too unselfish. There were multiple instances today where we'd pass up a great, wide-open look for something that wasn't quite as good, and we had quite a number of turnovers come off of those opportunities.

 

Again, it is only one game. But it seems like every loss we have follows the same script.

I started watching with a little bit over 9 minutes left in the 4th quarter. They didn't score until a little bit under 2 minutes left. It was probably the most frustrating stretch of basketball I've ever seen.

That loss stung a little bit partially because it's a Xmas game and partially because it was the knicks. I'm over it though. Rose really disappeared the last 2 fourth quarters and what a surprise, the bulls offense struggled mightily in both games. Hope it's not the beginning of a trend.

 

Oh well its really nice to be back on Christmas either way, even if all the hype was about Lebron vs. Kobe.
