I was just thinking that! What the [expletive] is up with them. In the last 3-4 minutes I've seen them get outhustled to stop an icing, and lollygagged two different times towards pucks on the boards, which Vancouver got to and won easily.

 

If they arent giving max effort in the playoffs, yeah theres something seriously wrong with this team. I spent the summer warning of a bad cup hangover, I never imagined it might be this bad.

The Hawks look like a team that half assed it most of the year, and now feel satisfied that they avoided the embarrassment of not making the playoffs a year after winning the Cup.
