Now as for the Hawks, I am pretty excited for tonight. But at the same time, I still get the "house money" feeling here. Maybe it's because something like 40 teams in history have gotten to 3-2 from 3-0 and only 4 have taken it the other 2 games, but I know the odds are still greatly against the Hawks, so I'm just trying to enjoy it. If we can take it to game 7, only then will it start to feel "real" and expectations will come back into play. So all I can hope for is the Hawks come out carefree like the last 2 games, score early and get into their heads. They are gonna try to get back to what worked for them in the first couple of games so look for lots of physical play. They will try to get the edge back by slamming us around. Hopefully one of those goons will [expletive] up and take a penalty or two early.

Either way, you can't ask for anymore when you go down 0-3 than a chance to even up the series on home ice. Lets do it!

Count me in the "house money" camp as well.

Seabrook will provide a boost tonight. I think it's all about the first 20 minutes. They are down. Jump on them and remind them again and again that the walls are crashing down. A Game 7 would be epic.

I haven't followed their goalie situation this year, but how in the hell did they end up with Leighton/Boucher as their goalies in this game?

seeing versteeg in a flyers uniform makes me sad.

Myers just CRUSHED him.

And then Boucher sucked again. I'm rooting for Buffalo though. That city deserves a winner.

have you been to buffalo? they don't deserve a winner. although the women of buffalo who are repeatedly beaten by their boyfriends and husbands after painful bills losses do deserve a winner, if only to stop the abuse.

Haha, I have been to Buffalo, and the city sucks. But I've always liked the Sabres.

bobrovsky (starter going into game two) gave up three goals in the first period of game two, mostly because the defense was playing like hot ass. laviolette pulled him for boucher - fine. then he went with boucher from games 3 through 5 and gave up on bobrovsky - panic move. leighton was the backup for games 3-5; when boucher gave up two of the worst goals in history in game 5 then leighton came in and played all right - let's remember that leighton was either hurt or in the minors for almost the whole year. then leighton inexplicably gets the start in game 6. just a terrible call and leighton gives up at least two soft goals while ryan miller makes about 10 tough saves.

Wow, I would have figured there was an injury, not just rank mismanagement.

Oh man, Steeger throws it at the net and it just hops right down in front of the stick.

Flyers take it. Game 7 coming.

That was a great finish. Didn't see the whole game, but the finish was fun.

Are you serious?!?! Holy crap.

If we win this game, we are taking the series, book it. There will be too much drama and pressure for the Canucks if they lose this.

Man this is awesome. I'm so glad we didn't get swept. It isn't the playoffs without the Canucks forcing the Hawks to mentally fold.

I have no idea how they are going to make it to the Finals when they cant even go through the first round without a goalie controversy among other dramas.

schneider is tough though, and i worry more about guys like him than i do against top goaltenders.

For sure. 16-4, .929 save%, 2.23 GAA this year.

i think it's a smart move by vancouver, actually. if they lose, luongo can get his mojo back by stoning us in game 7, if they win, they move on. however, if we end up winning the series, luongo needs to go right to a mental health facility afterwards.

Holy crap. Did not see this one coming. And I agree with whoever said it's not necessarily a good thing, even if it's a really funny thing.

What is it about the playoffs that turns normally good coaches into complete morons?

Pressure, baby. Real, honest-to-goodness, "you will be judged forever by this" -- pressure.
