Kyung-Min Na left yesterday's Boise game with an undisclosed injury after being hit by pitch.

Francisco Guzman has missed 6 games with an injured hamstring and Logan Watkins has missed 4 with an injured wrist.

Two draftees from the 2009 class that have yet to impress in any way:

Austin Kirk

Brooks Raley

Raley's had a handful of impressive outings. Those have been outweighed by the bad ones and the mediocre ones, though.

Kirk is a HS draftee that has less than 25 professional innings, it might be a little premature to call him unimpressive.

I was always looking more towards 2011 in regards to Raley since he was making a transition to FT pitching and having to deal with significantly tougher players. Am I a touch disappointed with his season? Sure, but I'm not that down on him.

Kirk was a HS kid. How he finishes the year is critical, but let's give it some time.

Kirk was the best pitcher down at extended spring training. I don't think 2 starts should make you consider him a disappointment.

And Raley came out of college as a sophomore and not a full-time pitcher. It's not too surprising to see him struggle at high A.

Yet to impress in any way.

Right. So what? If a guy has yet to impress in any way and you point out that a guy has yet to impress in any way it doesn't mean you are obligated to forfeit the rights to that player and give up any and all hope for his future. It just means you think he has yet to impress.

And Austin Kirk has pitched 5 shutout innings so far tonight, giving up 3 hits and K'ing 5, with no walks...... :D

Vitters with a walk in his third straight game. That's gotta be a personal best!

AZPhil saw Dong Yub Kim throwing lefthanded and he's righthanded. He didn't see him take batting practice all spring either. So, he could have either had TJS or has a shoulder issue, was Phil's educated guess anyway.

Two catchers from the same team both making the All-Star team has to be quite rare.
