So, I'll be staying at the Best Western in Evanston on July 1st and 2nd and attending the Cubs game on the 2nd. Its on Sherman Ave, I believe. Are there any cool places to go/hang out around that area?

Is it a pretty safe area? I'm so white that even I try to mug myself sometimes.

Worst defensive team in the majors

Baker with another lapse. Looked like he was assuming it was going to be foul the whole way and didn't even try to go to third after fielding the ball.

Yes, it is quite safe in downtown and Eastern Evanston. The places with semi-common violent crime are to the West. And even there it's as safe or safer than 85% of Chicago. 2 Blocks from Davis and Dempster street Purple line stations and a Metra station, and a 2-5 block walk from almost anything you'd want to go to in Evanston.

The lead was fun, but I should have known that the Cubs simply arent good enough to score more runs than another team, at least not a major league team. Maybe now Gorzolanny can regain his rightful rotation spot from Jason Marquis Jr.

Brenly tearing into Bradley..

Pretty funny

I don't know, seems classless to me.

Not able to watch, What did Brenly say?

He had a quick 4 or 5 pitch at bat and Brenly seemed like he was rushing to get in his digs. Len mentioned it was odd that he was getting more boos than cheers at home (Cubs fans booing) and Brenly said something to the effect of they haven't gotten to know him yet. Then said something about a Seattle restaurant with a special sandwich that costs whatever Bradley's average is at the time.

We get it Bob, you think he is a jerk. It just seems so personal with him, like he takes pleasure in calling him out. Not professional at all IMO.

Man, I completely forgot that this game was on. How bad has Wells looked? Did the Cubs' errors lead to any of the runs? It seems like it's been way to long since they had a game without an error.
