Every day I check the standings and say to myself we've looked awful but we're still in this thing. If we can just get a win streak going we have a chance but we never seem to get on any kind of a roll. Maybe today we can start a good winning streak.

I had this exact same feeling last year, and up until June 1st. Just like 2009, that break, that winning streak is destined never to come.

So you felt that way up until June 1st when they were 4 games back and in fourth place. The winning streak was destined never to come. Two months later the Cubs were in first place. :-k
