What kind of fallout was there? Did Ozzie demand his son get drafted and KW didnt want to?

 

Guillen watched Ozney slip to the 22nd round in the draft before the Sox selected him. Guillen then commented, ''I give my kid 50 grand just to go to school [at the University of South Florida rather than sign with the Sox]. I got 50 grand in my pocket to send my kid to go to Niketown or buy something.''

 

I guess they drafted Kenny Williams Jr. in the lower rounds and paid him 6 figures.

I'm surprised Ozzie could get into an argument. He's hard enough to understand while he's talking, I imagine it's even more difficult when he's yelling.

 

Seems like Ozzie should be glad his kid got drafted. So many more college and high school ball players want to get drafted and never are. Those that get drafted are talented, but also very lucky.
