That is what I figured and I thought what a weird way of overthinking a situation. The other guy would have taken so long to get there I'm not sure what kind of surprise advantage he thought he had.

Exactly. He continues to try to take on defenders on the top of the box going against 2 defenders rather than sliding a pass through or shooting. If he would drop off a pass he would catch Brazil off.

I don't like the new yellow card rule. I think they should have erased it after the Round of 16 rather than the quarters. If a guy can't avoid getting booked in both the quarters and the semis, that's too bad for him.
