Casey Blake is rightfully arguing that Lilly isn't making contact with the rubber. Comcast showed it last inning but neith Bob nor Len made a comment. They were showing he was pitching from the 3rd base side of the rubber but his foot was in front of the rubber as he began his wind-up. Blake was using his hands to show the ump how far Lilly was from the rubber. Good catch by Blake, not sure why Bob didn't say anything about it.

It's been a while since I've seen a game were a baserunner was arguing with an umpire without a play at the bag.

Anyone watching, how has Lilly looked? I think I would have pulled him for a p/h here, but maybe he's not struggling with his control as much as it seems on gameday/radio.

Is Lou even awake? Lilly has thrown 97 pitches and started struggling the past few innings yet he leads off the inning batting? I'm sure he'll be lifted after the first batter in the bottom of the inning. Die, Lou.

Hopefully so is Lou's terrible managing.

someone get a [expletive] explanation from lou as to why a hitter who hasn't had a walk or an extra base hit in three weeks is batting leadoff.

He probably thinks Theriot isn't hitting because he moved Theriot out of the leadoff spot.
