Looks like we'll probably get it started, but finishing it looks iffy right now. I could see us working up a huge lead early only to have it eventually rained out. Not because we're the Cubs, but because we're a bad baseball team and those things happen to bad baseball teams.

Agree. Let the kid hit away from the 8 hole and let Geo hit in the middle. I like Fuku leading off too. I think it's time to move Lee down to 5 or 6 though.

With his comments yesterday about being his "own hitting coach" or whatever, it's just coincidental timing, that's all. I'm not upset about him being out...he's played like crap. Just thought it was curious timing. Might be nothing but a day off...

I love how Lou starts Baker against a RHP, which is not an improvement even over a struggling Ramirez. Meanwhile we're going to be facing lefties both Friday and Saturday. Start him then.
