A word of advice to avid Card fans participating in ANY teams fan forum: When his or McGwire's names are mentioned it is inevitable that there will be bashing. Get used to it and move on.

 

You can't defend him by pointing to other managers as he is the poster boy for deaf, dumb and blind steroid managers. As to the pixie dust: It makes as much sense as a billy goat curse, so why take it seriously?

It is ridiculous to come here and defend the Cardinals on a Cubs board. I saw a ton of silly comments about the Cubs on gatewayredbirds in 2008 and I didn't feel the need to come and prove each comment wrong.

Wait, what? You're basically the only one going off on repeated McGwire rants here. Quit pretending like it's something that everyone else is doing, too.

I think some people are being a little too defensive. The Cardinals fans that post here are, by and large, respectful non-trolls and are actually pretty cool.
