Any time the Lakers want to start playing some defense or the Celtics want to start missing some shots would be great.

Add Ron Artest to the All-Flop Lakers team with Fisher and Gasol.

don't forget vlade

I can never forget Vlade. I tried to get him to do an interview for my middle school newspaper and he pretended to not be Vlade and hung up on me.

Seriously Kobe shut up. You get more phantom calls then anyone in basketball. Stop crying because The Truth just took the ball right out of your hands.

I hate them both but that was a hell of a play on the pass from Pierce to Rondo for the layup.

Series is basically a toss up now and I think Boston wins it. Odds are that Kobe starts jacking shots up the last two games with Bynum being hurt and some of the other guys unable to make shots. If they don't go in, LA goes down.

Also, it would be nice if Pierce kept up his promise not to return to LA.

The best part of tonights game was Kobe Bryant going off and it still didn't matter.

Paul Gasol looked soft and was a non factor. Andrew Bynum looked ok however he was on the bench for most of the game because of his knee (surprise). And Ron Artest has been terrible all series. I called the Celtics in 6 to start the series, and I think it will go 7 however, the Lakers are in serious trouble.

Why do Laker fans just whine and whine about the refs? It's incredibly annoying.

The pretentious little twit didn't keep up his promise not to return to Orlando, so don't hold your breath.

Love me some Paul Pierce.

So you're saying you have Paul Pierce commemorative wheelchairs in both Kansas and Boston colors?

Wow, we were a bad Ray Allen game from this thing being over in five games.

The Lakers also held fourth quarter leads in Games 2 and 4 before Boston played a bit better down the stretch so you could say we were a few minutes away from a sweep as well or at least the Lakers going back home up 3-2. Last night if the referees rule Ray Allen's shot was an airball, though appeared to graze the rim, the Lakers have the ball and are down five with a minute to play and that game could have ended differently.

In a series that, outside of Game 1, has seen both teams being right there in the fourth quarter, a lot could have easily gone different.

why are you using a hypothetical of "if the referees had made the wrong ruling..."?

Because they have made wrong calls against both teams at times in the series and I don't think the play was reviewable so had they ruled it missed the rim (understandable since it barely touched it), that call would have stood.

Since you don't like that hypothetical then if Artest doesn't slow up on the breakaway to try to draw a call on Pierce, he makes the layup and the Lakers are down three with 43 seconds left.

The point of the post was that each of the last four games were close and could have gone either way.

I hate the Celtics. They just happen to be playing the one team I hate more. I really hope Boston pulls this out so I get to be in the epicenter of Lakers failure.

Were you here in 2008? That was glorious.

The Celtics better win. Lakers fans will be unbearable if the Lakers come from behind with their backs against the walls to beat the Celtics.

for me the lakers are the lesser of the 2 evils

everybody already hates kobe and the lakers. plus kobe is is legitimately one of the best players ever, so him winning another ring doesn't really change much. watching rondo, pierce, kg and rivers win another title would be unbearable, especially considering everyone wrote them off before the postseason started.

i'm sure i'd feel differently if i lived near LA though

This didn't come out right. I meant to write that we were a bad Ray Allen game instead of a historically bad Ray Allen game from this being over. Freaking 5:45 a.m.
