Up 3 with the ball with about a minute left and 22 seconds on the shot clock, 1 for 8 Artest took and missed a 3 pointer.

And three three pointers on the same possession with 3.5 seconds left ties the game

Way to attack that defensive glass JRich!

He should have gotten a body on Artest but in fairness that's a shot that came up 3 feet short and he just got out-muscled at the end.

You could get on him for not putting a body on Artest but that's a shot that came up 3 feet short.

That was sickening.

The situation for the Artest three was nearly the same to the one the kid from Northern Iowa took against Kansas in the tourney this year.

You make it, game over. You miss it, and the other team is right there, though the Lakers obviously still managed to win the game.

True. However Ali is UNI's best shooter and was hot. UNI was turning the ball over nearly every possession prior to that. Artest is basically the 5th option on the floor for the Lakers and has shot 24% from 3 in the playoffs.

All he has to do is get in front of him a little. I understand the offense often gets the ball back on an airball but your season is on the line. If he delays him by two tenths of a second the game goes to OT.

Artest was the second best three point shooter on the team during the season (only Farmar was better). Artest wasn't hot but Ali wasn't either - IIRC, he'd missed a bunch of threes in the second half of that game.

Yeah, that was a garbage move by Richardson.

For [expletive]'s sake Vince, do something. You hear the criticism. Stand up for yourself. Don't shrink for once in your life.

Stan is awesome.

Nate Robinson just made the Celtics more hateable than the Lakers which I didn't expect after last night's game. Someone punch him in the balls.

i think it's funny that people started losing their [expletive] about boston collapsing. yes they lost game four and got beat pretty soundly in game five, but once they lost game four it was all about tonight. they had to win their home game. they did it pretty easily, on to the finals. i guess i have to root for them to beat the lakers.

Nice flop Dragic. Flagrant foul my ass. I hope our soccer team kicks the [expletive] out of Slovenia in a couple weeks.

And for the record, I don't like Vujacic much either.
