Wow. The Sharks score with 15 seconds left to tie it and send it to OT.

haha whoops, i'm off a period. i assumed it was the third based on the score. damn you hawks for losing and making me drink my sorrows away.

Avs have 4 goals on ten shots????

They scored with about 40 second left in the first period also.

The end of this Avs-Sharks game is really really entertaining. The Sharks have had like 37 great opportunities to score on this PP but haven't yet.

Would be hilarious if the Avs won that series, but the Blackhawks lost theirs, thus ruining a great shot to cruise into the conference finals.

Unreal. The Sharks have now scored in the last minute of all three periods.

Good time to hold your first lead of the game.

Well if it makes Blackhawks fans better, all 4 of the underdogs that lost Wednesday (NJ, SJ, Det, Pit) all won tonight.

that was honestly one of the best days of hockey that i can remember. i watched at least a part of every single game and they were all fantastic, intense games. the hawks game was a little slow, but still was close. just a load of fun tonight.

oh well, back to being nervous as hell. if randy jones plays tomorrow i might jump off a building.

that second period of the detroit/phoenix game was out of control. when teams are playing like that, playoff hockey is better than playoff anything else.

I am trying to not sound like a homer, but the coyote/wings series has been very entertaining hockey...traps be damned!!!!!

I agree with Alex also, what a great night to watch 6 hours of playoff hockey action

phx/det was the series i was most looking forward to (aside from kings), and it hasn't disappointed. the crowds were great too. not often that i look forward to afternoon hockey, but sunday's game should be pretty awesome.

If the Hawks win tonight, every series will have started 1-1. I am sure that has to be a first, but am probably wrong

Under the current format (best-of-seven in the first round) which started in the 1986-87 season, it's never happened. The most was in 1990-91 when only one series started 2-0 (Montreal-Buffalo).

What I saw of that PHX/DET game today was insane. And obviously enjoyed the outcome, though I'm suddenly concerned about Phoenix down the road. Especially if Aucoin is going to play like he has.
