I was hoping to see a truffle post since they came back. He probably stopped watching the game and is doing something else and has no idea.

I wonder if truffle is still deciding who to cheer for the rest of the playoffs.

What a choke. I'm sure Boston fans will take this choke for the Red Sox in 04, but it still can't feel great.

In the West 1 vs. 2. In the East 7 vs. 8 wow.

gotta be considered one of the biggest chokes in sports history, doesn't it?

4th time in north american pro sports history. 3 times in hockey, 1 time in baseball.

Did either of the hockey teams blow a 3-goal lead in game 7?

Also, the No. 7 seed has home ice.

has there ever been a 7 vs 8 conference final matchup in the NBA or NHL?

No, only a couple of 8 seeds made it out of the first round in the NBA and they all lost in the second round.

What would come between it and Red Sox/Yankees 2004?

It would be like Red Sox Yankees if the Yankees built a 6-0 lead in game 7.

not sure. blowing a 3-0 series lead AND a 3-0 game 7 lead (at home) has to put it right up there.

sucks that this series kind of got pushed aside and didn't get much attention. what a comeback.
