Dammit I would have been so much happier and confident going into this intermission with a 2 goal lead. Now I'm a wreck. We can't blow this game. Assuming you believe we split in Vancouver, this is the game we are supposed to win.

Why this one and not the next one?

Before the game, I'd agree. But having a two goal lead on the road in Vancouver and ultimately blowing it would be detrimental to our chances of pulling out Game 4 in Vancouver. At least that's what I'd think.

Just make it easy and outplay them for the final 20.

[expletive] couldn't make it out of the period with the 3-1 lead. Now Vancouver has all the momentum going into the 3rd. SOB

Kane and Buff got caught out there tired. Toews got off early and smartly -- Kane or Buff needed to play the puck into the corner and stall so they both could change.

The Canucks came out in that period with fire. Give them due credit. The Hawks just need to keep their intensity up and they'll be fine.

His celebration was awesome.

no it wasnt...pretty classless actually

It was definitely classless. But I'm drunk so I don't really care.

I probably would enjoy it if Holmstrom would do it in San Jose if he scored....it would still be classless though. I also would understand when he gets pounded later if the game got out of hand

3 different Hawks have lost their helmets and played a short stretch without them in this game. It's like all the stick breaking in the last game.

I understand the penalty but why didn't the Canucks get one when they were shoving Toew's face into the ice at the end of a play?

Already answered but this became the one we are supposed to win because we held a 2 goal lead until the last minute of the 2nd.

That penalty was by design. They've been trying to piss off Buff all game waiting for him to do something stupid. And it happened.

because once the scrum starts they probably all could be called for something...so they just sent the player who went out of his way to instigate the whole thing

The play I'm talking about there wasn't really a scrum, it was just the Vancouver guy sitting on Toew's face.
