I don't mean to bag on the NBA, but did the last minute of that Bulls game take about 20 minutes?

 

my dad has been bitching about that for years and i don't blame him. worst part about baskettall, hands down

I don't see how you fix it aside from doing something like adding a bonus foul shot to any team fouled with the lead in the last 60 seconds.

 

i'm referring more to the constant timeouts at the end of games.

Well, there were 4 timeouts (2 full, 2 20 second) called in the last two minutes of the game today for a total of 4 minutes. I'm not sure how that compares with all of the free throws.

it's funny, the program guide says blackhawks vs. predators and games last a long time and i haven't seen any of it on tv, yet. thank the Lord for internet streams.

Well, you could have been not an idiot and worn a facemask of some sort. I didn't have the option of wearing a special knee brace that would have protected me from knee-blow-outs when I played football

Oh yeah definitely required. I'm sure these days they require full body armor and they probably play with foam pucks until high school. I hope I'm exaggerating about that last part.

 

What a great game. And now I'm totally freaking pumped about heading up to the UC on Saturday. Haven't been there since 2001. Can't wait!
