How is pointing out how relatively quickly he runs hot and cold over players a personal attack?

Yea no [expletive]. Every time you turn around hes saying "this player should be benched for this guy, because he went 2-4 in the last game". Fontenot and Baker both have done a fine job at 2nd base so far, there is no reason to mess with it. Start giving Baker a lot of time vs RH pitching or Fontenot vs LH pitching, and then we will start having problems. They have done exactly what you want out of a platoon.

Wasn't West Side Rooter's original name Little Lord Fontenot?

God on Lou for sort of sticking up for Soriano.

?

Basically talking down how much booing he's getting.

Ah gotcha. The boo'ing is out of hand already with Soriano, and its not going to get any better. It really is a joke when Soriano could go 3-4 with 3 RBI's but let him strike out that 4th at bat and the idiots at Wrigley will be boo'ing.

I "get" when people boo him if he has one of his outfield screw ups or if he has a game where he keeps coming up in key situations and does nothing, but it's gotten to the point where he's booed for almost every out he makes or or almost any hit to LF. It's just stupid.

It may be true that people will boo his only out in a big day. But the guy is following up last season's disaster with a 47 OPS+ so far, swinging at pitches 2 feet out of the zone, and clumsily running around the outfield with multiple mistakes. If he stops sucking the booing will probably stop. Although there's no good reason to boo in the first place.

I don't see why you feel the need to state the obvious: nobody is arguing he's off to a good start. It's just stupid to boo him essentially every time he's going to make an out or any time a hit is made to LF.

You guys are the ones who insinuated they were booing in inappropriate situations. I don't agree with booing, but they aren't just booing in the 1 out of a 3-4 day as was mentioned. If you feel I'm just stating the obvious then that means you disagree with your own words.

Uh, my point has obviously been that he's basically being booed every single time he makes an out and every time a hit is made to LF in addition to the times when he actually does screw up. I never said that he was only being booed when he "shouldn't" be. Come on, that's a ridiculous thing to argue. Nobody was even hinting at that.
