Silly Pujols. Running down the hill to have sex with just one sheep. The Cubs know it's a long, grinding season and they are clearly walking down the hill to have sex with all of the sheep. :stickman:

As bad as they looked on Monday even the sheep are saying "no" to the Cubs.

So....am I allowed to put CJ Wilson in to get my 7th start this week even though he is only listed as a RP?

My initial impression is no, but I await a decree from our high and mighty commish :-)

Today is the day for the Quakers. I have four starts. If I have not at least pulled even, then this week will be my first loss.

Why Papelbon was left in for the second inning this early in the season????

you obviously should be allowed to put him in somehow. think about it...if you couldn't put him in there, he would be literally unusable for the first 1/3 of the season since you can't stick him at RP because he is starting. that would make no sense.

he should be made SP eligible too, so you don't have to bench one of your relievers to use him.

that's what I was thinking but wanted to confirm before I did it.

I think Adam is right.

I don't mean to be a stickler, but I thought you couldn't make changes mid-week on the lineup aside from injury concerns.

You can change SP to get your seven starts in. Other than that, you are generally correct.

I know Karen is new, she might have just not caught that in the rules when she switched out Bourn for Ordonez today.

No doubt in my mind that's what it is. I've been in other leagues with her and I don't think she'd try to get by with anything. The other baseball league we're both in is a daily change league, so that may just be what she's used to.

Tossed in Casey McGehee (just shoot me, he's the best option) for Brian Roberts, because Roberts is not playing, and should be on the DL, but the Orioles don't want to do it for some reason.

Montero is injured too, but I don't want to drop any other bench players.

I think we said the 8th start doesn't count if there's a clear distinction between 7th and 8th (such as one afternoon and one night start), but losing the best start if the games for the 7th and 8th starts begin at around the same time.

I'm not debating that; I was just saying what my recollection was from last year (and it could be wrong anyway). I know the issue came up last year, and my recollection was that Juan said that the first 7 starts count. The issue was if you've already had 6 starts, then have two more at the same time.
