I don't recall if I was, but I'm allowed to change my mind.

 

It was probably right after we got rid of Harden and I was worried about the strength of the rotation. However our competitive window probably closes after this season (next season tops) and in that case you might as well start rebuilding and trying to get the stars of tomorrow.

 

And I didn't think this winter was the right time. I only advocate trading Z if we're out of it at the end of July.

Fook looks locked in. If he's just able to drive the occasional fastball and he should be able to OBP around .400

 

Not that I'm trying to be a douche or anything because I'm a Fukudome fan, but he starts out hot every year.

 

I know. But he's a bad fastball hitter (for a corner outfielder especially) and if he could just drive more meatballs he'd exploit his plate discipline more. I guess last year was a bit of an improvement because he started hitting more doubles.
