and goodbye mccamey, bring on tracy abrams.

We've said that the past what 5 classes now?

I remember how excited I was to see Stan Simpson in the orange and blue

I meant more the seniors leaving. Going back to the crazies that wanted Dee gone.

Yeah I'm just picking nits and making a bad sarcastic joke to cope.

I see what you're saying, but these seniors have a real Pruitt/Randle leadership feeling about them. I don't think any of them are as destructive as Pruitt was, but I have a feeling I'll be happier with Brandon and Jereme as de facto leaders compared to DMac and Tisdale

I just think that until Weber goes it's gonna be the same thing over and over again. The only guy on this team I can stomach right now is Paul. Even Richmond makes me want to throw something right now.

Why am I finding myself really liking Mike Davis is what I want to know

I know you guys are in spaz mode, but this is the signature win for Purdue this year. On the road, in a tough environment, against one of the more talented teams in the country. If it weren't for McCamey having the absolute WORST game of his career it wouldn't have happened. You can't blame coaching for 1-10 from the floor, but whatever.

Yes you guys have better recruiting classes coming in, and Purdue is losing two of their best players in school history. So. Yes, I expect the Illini to beat Purdue next year. That's why I'm enjoying this.

Also, the guy sreeching during every Purdue free throw is an embarrassment to Illinois. The Crean comment was golden.

We have to fire Weber. We are irrelevent. That's the worst thing you can be.

I agree. People are concerned about Jerrance though. To me its totally off base, you can't let fear of losing an assistant hold the program up. Ideally, Jerrance stays at Illinois with the new regime, if not you hire someone you know can get it done on the recruiting trail. I at the very least would like to see some staff changes. We have to shake it up.

Worse than 1-10 with 4 assists and 3 turnovers? I doubt it. Every loose ball was going to Purdue too.

i'm willing to relent on this weber thing. i think as long as they keep howard on staff, they keep the recruits. even the players who were not his love him.

but you'll need to make a big splash and bring in a huge name. illiniguy said anthony grant and i've heard it before. well, that may be nice. but like i said, anything less than dixon/wright caliber and i'm disappointed.

What the hell is going on with that guy? How about the play where he had the ball trapped on his hip, took 3 steps, was called for traveling and then looked at the ref all confused like he couldn't believe it?

Seriously Bryce Cartwright would be an upgrade for you guys right now and he's just a guy Fran found in May/June.

I'd love to have those two but why would either of them leave where they are now to come to Illinois? Wright is a Philly guy and you can't underestimate the damage that Weber has done to our program the past 5 years in the nations perspective. We have to hire an up and comer that is convinced we are a sleeping giant.

If I could pick Paul, Richmond, and Richardson or Terone Johnson, Byrd, and Barlow. Well... that's pretty easy...

Paul and Richardson did both play 32 minutes, so at least he's letting them play. Richmond had a tough game, but I don't think there's any doubt about his ability.

I don't watch a lot of Illinois ball, but Cole displayed horrible body language throughout. I can't believe losing him isn't a good thing.

Yeah, a big guy averaging under 6 points a game. I think you can safely toss that stat out. Seriously?

Offensive efficiency has nothing to do with usage rate
