I'm giggling hearing rumblings that Selby may not be cleared to play for KU this year.

I'm hearing 4 game suspension, a la Wall. I think we'd win the North without him anyway.

Everyone elses retards get in but Mizzou's.

i think you'll find that plenty of retards get into mizzou.

Well sure, but they aren't good at sports.

If you think you'll finish above us this year, I'd like to propose a bet...

You didn't so so well last year with your bet and I'll get in on this one also. No way KU finishes below you.

now you got the illini fans siding with ku, you truly bring folks together.

KSU will have a good team, but they still aren't going to be better than KU. Especially if Lamb plays.

Apparently Josh Oglesby canceled his upcoming visit to Illinois so it's down to Iowa, Minnesota and Arizona State. I would think it's Iowa and Minnesota but don't like the timing of him canceling the Illinois visit while being at ASU.

Might be, I hope not. He actually called Iowa's Scout.com guy back to tell them that he didn't just cancel it, they pulled his offer. A lot more honesty than you get with most recruits. Sounds like they're confident they'll land Randle.

Indiana just got another 2014 (!) commit in Trey Lyles. Currently 6'9"- very highly thought of and aau teammate of IU commit James Blackmon, Jr.

Now if they can get the big one in '11, and a handful from this ridiculous 2012 Indiana class...

It's so nice to finally have something to be optimistic about.

G Norm Powell committed to UCLA; his other choices were Arizona and SDSU. Very athletic SG who is flying a bit under the radar out west.

PG recruiting is as big problem. It's really annoying since Ben Howland has gotten Farmar, Westbrook, Collison and Holiday to the league in the last 5 years.

wow, he actually called the guy who broke the story about him eliminating illinois and told him that illinois pulled the offer.

what a great kid. these are the kinds of players that i'm glad illinois recruits nowadays.

Yeah that's impressive. I know a teacher/coach at his school and he's raved about him as a kid. Really no feel for where he ends up. I think Iowa is a very slight favorite but all 3 are in play.

I don't. [expletive] Iowa.

word on the street is that the emergence of crandall head in workouts is a big reason why the offer got pulled, not the imminence of a randle commitment.

Overall emergence or to fill the role they expected Oglesby to fill? It seemed from what I've heard that after his workout at Illinois, they really thought he could be a combo guard and handle the point/run the offense at times.

The insiders on the Gophers board are saying he told the coaches that he won't be attending Minnesota.

i think that if they were going to take oglesby, they would want to make sure that he could handle the point and the consensus is that he's not quick enough, i guess. every guard in the offense has to be able to play a little point, so they must not have felt that he would be a good fit.

and with head coming back at 100%, they didn't need another wing anyway.

i am super excited about crandall, he is a monster, and at an athletic 6-5, he can do it all.

I haven't seen the actual twitter, but evidently his AAU coach tweeted that Oglesby is going to Iowa. The streaming video of the presser is also down, so I won't trust it until the shenanigans are over.
