Kevin Gregg has a one-year, $2.75 million deal with the Blue Jays, reports Jon Heyman of SI.com.

Gregg immediately becomes the favorite for saves over Jason Frasor and Scott Downs, though it's not clear if he has already been guaranteed the ninth-inning gig. The 31-year-old compiled a 4.72 ERA, 1.31 WHIP and 23 saves in 30 opportunities with the Cubs last season before losing the closer's gig to Carlos Marmol.
