I'm in. Why would it be losing its luster? Just because the Cubs are uninteresting?

I guess because I'm getting use to baseball and football leagues that pay out at the end of the year. That, and I've been in this league since 2000 or 2001 or whatever the first year was we started. Not that I don't enjoy it, I just don't get as excited about it as I use to.

for me, I've just generally lost interest in baseball.

I'm kind of back to where I was before 2003, which is being a fan but not obsessed. I'll watch the game if there's not something else I'd rather be doing, but it's not as much of a priority as it was for a few years. Last year was the first year since 2001 that I didn't go to a Cubs game (home or on the road), and it didn't seem to me like I was missing out (I still went to a few minor league games).

I still went to a game last year, but doesn't look like I will be able to this year with the expenses of wedding, honeymoon, etc.

The idiots in the Cubs front office have ruined baseball for me for the time being.

I'm in. And agree. I don't follow baseball very much. I used to be into the minors like crazy, now I couldn't tell you anything outside of what I have read about prospects on this board.

I don't believe I went to a game last year. But I have to subject my son to Cubs misery this summer. Poor Kid.

So you're saying my attempts to use the jedi mind trick have failed?

Hey, you know last year the guy with the first pick traded it away and won the league...

I know! Everyone else should learn from your example and trade their first round picks to me.

Yes.. somewhere more interesting that Chicago! :) The all inclusive we have booked in the caribbean kind of trumps MLB.

I've got to admit that my interest level in MLB baseball is down too. also, with my traveling over the past few summers I haven't not been able to follow Boise like I use to.

But I am still up for Roadkill:)

I'll trade you my first round pick for the first pick in the prospect draft...
