Any luck finding Todd and 2 other owners yet?

 

If necessary, I do have a brother that would be interested, but he doesn't exactly ever come to this board. I'd make him though in order to participate, so nobody would have to go through me.

 

I haven't found anyone but I haven't had much time to look - how about you Brian?

I haven't been looking. My wife went on a sabbatical to get away from the teenagers (it was take a break or completely lose her mind) and I'm swamped with work and driving teenagers all over town.

 

I'm feeling a bit overwhelmed right now. We need to find some warm bodies soon, though.

I've had one thought on a possible replacement. I don't know if she feels like she can take on another league, but karenmac, who posts some in the minor league forum (she's president of the Peoria Chiefs booster club and I met her and her husband a couple of years ago when the Cubs were playing in Toronto ) is in a fantasy baseball league of mine (the one you were in several years ago, Brian, before you got frustrated by Gregg's antics) and is also in a couple fantasy football leagues I'm in (including one that's mainly NSBB members).

That would be cool to have Karen run a team. Ironically (Karen being a person in Peoria), I got in touch with an old classmate on Facebook and the day he accepted my friend request, he informed me that he was just drinking coffee with my dad that morning in Peoria. Weird.

 

One of the guys in this other league I'm in used to own the team I now own. I think it might be Clint Scheubert. There might be a few good owners who might want to make the switch once Hosak chases all the good ones away. But Tim or Chuck might be a better judge of those guys since I haven't played a season with these guys yet.

Depends if Todd comes back or not. Karen has not responded to my PM yet. I did ask mooch - I suggest we ask Roady too.

I sent Rodelo (roady) an email asking if he was interested, and he is very interested. I told him Juan would send him the links and basic info because I'm lazy like that..... \:D/

Now, with Karen on board and Roady taking another team, we just need to know what Todd has going on. It's only 6 days to the deadline to pare down our rosters, so if we are going to need to add one more manager, we probably need to do it by Wednesday or Thursday at the latest, IMHO. They need time to analyze their roster and figure out the rules and time to analyze their roster before making cuts.
